We’re pretty easy to work with. Just click on the getting started page to get an idea of how simple the process is.

Once your manuscript is submitted to Savory Words, your book goes into editorial review.  The editorial review team may decide that Savory Words is  not a good fit for your manuscript, or we may have some suggestions for improvement. We’ll also set up an appointment to discuss your book, your short-term and long-term goals, and your marketing goals. If we decide to publish your book, the next step is to finalize the contract and timeline. Next, we enter the editing process. As the book is edited, work begins on the cover design and book layout.

Once the editing is done, we format the book for e-books and for print, and then the book is ready to go. But that’s not all that has to be done. There is also marketing, which you will have primary responsibility for but with great support from us. Once everything is carefully in place, the book will be launched.

While we can’t guarantee any specific results, Savory Words only takes a few book projects each year. That way, we can treat each project with the utmost care and attention. We look for quality over quantity, and we want each and every author to succeed.
